You've probably heard that with most energy drinks therein lies an unavoidable energy crash. When I saw 5-Hour Energy's commercial with a stacked bottle pyramid and the spokesman, while describing a new flavor, pulls the bottom corner out from under all the other bottles and there is no crash. "Wheew, well that's just brilliant." I thought what an impact that might have on those who might conceivably drink this stuff may just think.. #nocrash = avoidable energy crash!
For some reason 5-Hour Energy followed up that commercial in just about the same way, only this time the entire pyramid crashes. It leads me to believe whoever was in charge of this campaign had a good thing going for them and ruined what could have turned out to be a very successful ad maneuver. I would have liked to seen the same spokesman in different scenarios where no matter what occurs the pyramid doesn't ever crash. Which would speak directly to the product's stamina.
